{"id":4403,"date":"2026-01-06T15:00:20","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T19:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crfc-fcrc.ca\/?p=4403"},"modified":"2026-01-06T15:47:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T19:47:43","slug":"the-crfc-is-proud-to-announce-the-16th-round-of-radiometres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crfc-fcrc.ca\/en\/the-crfc-is-proud-to-announce-the-16th-round-of-radiometres\/","title":{"rendered":"The CRFC is proud to announce the 16th round of Radiometres!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>OTTAWA (January 6, 2026) &#8211;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Community Radio Fund of Canada (CRFC) has launched Radiometres, a yearly project-based funding program designed to strengthen the impact of the Canadian campus-community broadcasting sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Now in its 16th round, Radiometres is available to all Canadian not-for-profit radio stations that hold a valid CRTC campus or community broadcasting license. Applicants can seek up to $35,000 for a project that upholds one of three program priorities:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b> Content Creation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This priority is intended for any project that aims to create musical and\/or spoken word programming for your station (i.e., launching a daily drivetime program, producing a radio and\/or podcast series, presenting a live music performance series)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b> Skills Development:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This priority is intended for any project aimed at improving the station&#8217;s ability to fulfill its mission through skills development (i.e., training workshops, creating a volunteer training guide, achieving radio operation process)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b> Digital Initiatives:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This priority is intended for any project that involves the establishment or improvement of digital programming production and distribution systems (i.e., upgrading your station\u2019s website to improve content distribution, adding a smartphone or tablet application to a station\u2019s digital offering)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The deadline to submit applications is <b>Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 3:00PM ET.<\/b> Applications are submitted via the CRFC\u2019s online portal, <a href=\"https:\/\/mycrfc-monfcrc.smapply.io\/prog\/RM\">SM Apply<\/a>. Unfortunately, late applications will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crfc-fcrc.ca\/en\/radiometres\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All applicants are strongly encouraged to read and review the Program Guidelines as well as the CRFC\u2019s website before submitting their application.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:pascal@crfc-fcrc.ca\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Program Officer Pascal Kayishema <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0is available to offer applicants additional information, including feedback on draft applications.
