Trent Radio Foundations

The aim of the project was to improve volunteer recruitment, training and retention. With the $50,000 in funding awarded by the CRFC, the station was able to develop a new volunteer training and support plan, deliver workshops and increase the size of their team of volunteers.

“Trent Radio’s mandate is to provide the services, training, assistance and technical resources required to support our volunteer membership,” says John K. Muir, General Manager of the station. “[Thanks to the project] we have been able to reconnect with the founding principles of the organisation to make sure we continue to align our day-to-day operational priorities with the core values of Trent Radio.”
