The Community Radio Fund of Canada is pleased to announce Francella Fiallos as its new Program Officer for the Local Journalism Initiative and Communications Director.
The team at the CRFC is excited to have someone who has a long history in community and campus radio, who understands the challenges facing stations, and who is passionate about growing our capacity to support these stations.
Francella is a former broadcaster, arts administrator, and front-end web developer who has been involved in the campus-community radio sector for close to 10 years in a variety of roles and stations. She most recently served as Station Manager for CJLO 1690AM, Concordia University’s radio station. Her background is in journalism, having studied at both Carleton University in Ottawa and the University of King’s College in Halifax. She is excited to join the CRFC team!
